EN-RICH-MENT Launches "1,000 Squares to Grow" - Campaign to Nurture Youth and Cultivate Community Through the Arts
Canton, Ohio – October 29, 2024 – EN-RICH-MENT Arts Education Center,
EN-RICH-MENT, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit fine and performing arts agency is thrilled to announce the launch of their “1,000 Squares to Grow” Campaign. This ambitious new initiative will begin November 1, 2024 and end January 31, 2025, with a goal to raise $100,000.00. Each square is valued at $100.00.
As part of “1,000 Squares to Grow,” EN-RICH-MENT is calling on families, friends, churches, agencies, community leaders, and local businesses to purchase a square to be displayed with their name in our vibrant space. This campaign represents a critical piece of the resources needed to sustain and expand EN-RICH-MENT, the only free program of its kind in the Stark County area. With each square purchased, EN-RICH-MENT comes closer to reaching its goal of creating an arts ecosystem that enables local youth to thrive creatively and academically.
Contributions will help provide access to music, cooking, theater, dance, gardening, visual arts, and more for youth in the Stark County area, ages 5 to 18. Funds raised will support everything from musical instruments and art supplies to technology and teaching staff, ensuring that every young person has access to a safe and creative space.
“Our ‘1,000 Squares to Grow’ Campaign is more than a fundraiser; it's a means to connect our community through the power of arts education,” said Betty Smith, Executive Director of the EN-RICH-MENT Arts Education Center. “When we invest in the arts, we invest in hope, resilience, and the boundless potential of our youth. Each square brings us closer to a community where creativity knows no boundaries.”
