Gospel Joins Symphony 2024
After 10 years, Ms Betty Smith decided to bring back Gospel Joins Symphony featuring a community Gospel choir in partnership with the Canton Symphony Orchestra. Gospel Joins Symphony is an epic presentation of orchestral and gospel music coming together to inspire and uplift our community.
VOICE is a community choir organized by EN-RICH-MENT and directed by Darius McBride, former EN-RICH-MENT instructor and currently the Vocal Music Director at Westerville South High School in Westerville. VOICE was joined by the Southland College Prep Charter from Richton, Illinois under the direction of Elizabeth Norman-Sojourner.
Dr. Henry Panion will be the conductor of the Orchestra, and assisted by Matthew Jenkins Jaroszewicz from the Canton Symphony Orcehstra.
Our community ensemble will return!
Become a part of VOICE and immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where you can actively engage in rehearsals, explore a diverse range of music, and truly project your unique sound.
This opportunity allows you to hone your skills, collaborate with fellow members of the community and youth choirs, and perform alongside a professional symphonic orchestra. Embrace this chance to grow, connect, and shine in a supportive and creative setting.
VOICE will return as a part of Gospel Joins Symphony in the future!
Join our All Age Choir this Fall!
This choir class is available at EN-RICH-MENT and will inform, teach, and give insight and deeper understanding to Voice, Music, Stage, Music Entertainment, and Songwriting.
Participants will also prepare for the next Gospel Joins Symphony in 2025.
